What is MiROS
MiROS is a cloud-based programming tool for ROS with graphical user interface. Rosbot 2 comes preinstalled with the MiROS Agent, enabling a constant SSH connection between your computer and your robot. If you’re developing a ROS project on a Mac or PC, there’s no need to install Ubuntu or use a virtual machine. You can access the ROS environment directly through a web browser and remotely connect to your robot. The MiROS graphical interface supports drag-and-drop programming and automatically generates ROS code, saving time and reducing the risk of errors.

Power Mag is a magnetic battery that easily attaches to Rosbot 2’s metal surface, enabling quick battery swaps. Its core is powered by LFP (lithium iron phosphate) technology, which is ideal for EVs, solar energy storage, and mobile robots. LFP batteries are safer, charge faster, offer better heat resistance, and have a longer lifespan. They are also more environmentally friendly and cost-effective compared to other battery types.
What is Auto Charge
Auto Charge is an automatic charging solution for Rosbots, Mecabots, and Pickerbots. The Rosbot 2S models are bundled with the Auto Charge auto charging station. Auto Charge can also be purchased separately and easily deployed to pair with any compatible Rosbot, Mecabot, or Pickerbot.

The Rosbot comes with ROS 1 as standard but this can easily be upgraded to ROS 2 by either replacing ROS 1 on the bundled SD card or simply downloading ROS 2 on to a new SD card. ROS is an open-source software platform, and thus free to use, which is appropriate for developers, researchers and prototyping as well as for full deployment. Furthermore, the built in LiDAR and depth camera can be accessorised to facilitate vSLAM, RTAB mapping and multi point navigation amongst other useful commercial applications.
